Staying fit while you’re in Long Beach for the 2017 Home Care and Hospice Conference and Expo won’t be hard. Nearly every hotel has a fitness center with cardio machines like treadmills and elliptical trainers, weight machines, and an outdoor pool. Some also have indoor pools, free weights, and stretching areas. The Westin offers New Balance workout gear rentals and three-and-five-mile outdoor jogging maps.
If you prefer to do your own thing outside, just walk on one of the many scenic paths or on the miles of sandy beach. Getting your 10 thousand daily steps never felt so good! Or, rent a bike and take a ride. You can get your daily exercise while having fun and soaking up some Vitamin D in sunny California. There are also yoga studios and gyms in Long Beach. Some may offer drop-in classes for a fee.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to stay in shape while in town for the Conference. Just don’t forget to pack your exercise clothes.
Register soon, the best hotel rates expire on 9/20.
