Long Beach Waterfront

Make time for some fun and sightseeing while you’re in Long Beach for the 2017 Home Care and Hospice Conference and Expo. This waterfront oasis has something for everyone including a variety of cafes and restaurants, interesting museums and attractions, and tons of shopping at malls, outlets, funky boutiques, and flea markets. If you prefer the great outdoors, you’ll never tire of the beach, parks, nature trails, and bike paths.

Aquarium of the Pacific – a public aquarium on a 5-acre site on Rainbow Harbor

El Dorado Nature Center – 105 acres that provide a sanctuary for animals and plant life

Long Beach Museum of Art – more than 3,200 works in its permanent collection representing all types of media

Long Beach East Village Arts District – farmer’s markets, galleries, eclectic shops and cafes

Museum of Latin American Art – the only museum in the U.S. dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American art

The Pike at Rainbow Harbor – retail outlets and entertainment

Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site – the largest and most impressive adobe home in southern California during the Mexican period

Queen Mary – tour this historic ocean liner or have a drink and a meal onboard

Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch & Gardens – the sacred Tongva village of Povuu’ngna, the traditional birthplace of the native people of the Los Angeles Basin

Shoreline Village – eat, shop, have an ice cream cone, or play arcade games
